Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with 8+ years of experience to lead Agile teams and drive the successful delivery across cross-functional teams working on data engineering, BI, AI/ML initiatives. The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, ensure adherence to Scrum principles, and act as a servant leader to enable high-performing, self-organizing teams. You will play a key role in driving execution excellence, continuous improvement and stakeholder alignment working closely with the project manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile squads delivering data platform and analytics solutions.
• Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies:
• Sprint Planning
• Daily Stand-ups
• Sprint Reviews / Demos
• Retrospectives
• Backlog Grooming
• Partner closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Analysts, Architects, and Business Stakeholders.
• Ensure sprint readiness with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.
• Identify and remove blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks proactively.
• Coach teams in Agile principles, Scrum maturity, and continuous improvement.
• Track sprint execution using velocity, burn-down charts, and delivery metrics.
• Support multi-team coordination for large enterprise data programs.
• Promote transparency, accountability, and strong collaboration across teams.
  
  

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile delivery environments out of the overall experience
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile delivery best practices.
• Experience working with teams delivering data engineering, analytics, or AI initiatives.
• Familiarity with data ecosystem concepts such as:
• ETL / ELT pipelines
• Data Warehousing
• BI Reporting and Dashboards
• Data Governance & Quality
• Expertise in Agile tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, etc.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Scrum certification: CSM / PSM / SAFe Scrum Master.

• Agile / Scrum methodologies
• JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps
• SDLC knowledge
• Metrics and reporting (Velocity, Burndown, Burn-up charts)
