Network Engineer

Job Title: Network SRE - Wireless

Location: London, UK - Onsite

Duration: 6 Months

Employment Type: Inside IR35 Contract

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly experienced Network SRE (Wireless) with 10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience to support, automate, and improve the reliability of enterprise wireless and network platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and maintain enterprise wireless and network infrastructure
• Automate network operations using Python scripting and Ansible
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability using Grafana and Prometheus
• Lead incident management and outage resolution, ensuring minimal downtime
• Work independently on complex network issues and mentor junior engineers
• Manage and integrate network assets using Nautobot
• Support network access control and security using Cisco ISE and Cisco DNAC
• Perform wireless performance analysis and surveys using Ekahau and Hamina
• Monitor and optimize wireless experience using Aruba UXI, 7Signal, and Wyebot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network reliability and scalability

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
• Strong Linux/Unix proficiency
• Expertise in Cisco, Aruba, and Mist networking technologies
• Experience with automation and configuration management (Ansible, Python)
• Strong knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
• Experience with asset management tools such as Nautobot
• Hands-on experience with Cisco DNAC and Cisco ISE
• Strong troubleshooting skills and production incident handling experience
