Senior Java Developer – Contract

📍 Melbourne | ⏳ 3-month initial contract | $700 + GST per day

We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer to join a team delivering high-volume, mission-critical applications. This role suits someone who thrives in complex, performance-sensitive environments and can hit the ground running.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and building scalable, high-throughput Java applications
• Working on mission-critical systems where performance, reliability, and security matter
• Collaborating with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions

What we’re looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with Java (enterprise / backend focus)
• Proven background working on high-volume, mission-critical systems
• Experience with modern architectures (microservices, APIs, distributed systems)
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC), is highly regarded
• Strong problem-solving skills and a pragmatic engineering mindset
