Job Description

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics & Data Science team. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned tasks in data analysis, extraction, assessment, automation, and reporting. You will work collaboratively with a highly skilled team to craft bespoke, tailor-made solutions that help our clients tackle unique business problems. As a technically driven professional, you will use your expertise in SQL and Python to provide intelligent solutions and ensure the highest standards of data excellence.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Deliver and automate custom data extracts, including briefing, SQL querying, and providing after-delivery client support.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for designing, building, and delivering automated reporting solutions for internal and external clients.
  • Develop report or dashboard automation solutions using AWS services, Python, and SQL.
  • Perform data analysis and the reporting or presentation of results to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the company’s property data assets.
  • Engage with both internal and external customers to understand and meet their data needs.
  • Ensure all data assets, processes, and systems have up-to-date and accurate documentation.
  • Undertake property data reporting on a periodic basis and identify any data anomalies.

Essential

Job Qualifications:

  • Intermediate technical querying skills in SQL Server and intermediate technical skills in Python.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of commercial experience using relevant software tools.
  • Experience in automating solutions and a detailed understanding of data structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and critical ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking.
  • Ability to work well as part of an agile team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to have your message heard and understood.

Preferred

  • Bachelors (or higher) degree in computing, mathematics, statistics, or science-related disciplines.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and familiarity with CI/CD automation solutions.
  • Experience working in a data-led business or an equivalent department in a larger company.
