ACENSI BELGIUM is looking for his client an Azure DevOps Expert(F/M/X)

Context

The IT Distributed Frameworks team is responsible for the corporate .NET framework and all necessary development tooling. We ensure technical ownership and governance of the Azure DevOps platform across the organization, working transversally with all IT teams. We are currently seeking an Azure DevOps Expert to join our team of 5 (mainly .NET developers and architects) to strengthen our DevOps platform governance, improve scalability, and provide transversal support and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the Azure DevOps platform from all perspectives (infrastructure, governance, security, and usage).

• Act as a technical expert for DevOps practices: identify improvements without guidance, liaise with Microsoft, and align with security governance and best practices.

• Governance & Guidelines: define and enforce high-level DevOps governance, create development guidelines, and ensure transversal adoption across IT teams.

• Security & Compliance: implement and maintain security modules, aligned with upcoming milestones.

• Infrastructure: manage and evolve on-premises build infrastructure; contribute to migration toward more scalable, container-based solutions.

• Templates & Automation: maintain and improve YAML build templates, pipelines, and related DevOps automation.

• Technical Writing: produce clear documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and adoption by different teams.

• Collaboration: work closely with internal stakeholders across all IT domains; act as the first line of support and expertise for the Azure DevOps platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Azure DevOps governance, infrastructure, and security.

• Strong knowledge of .NET and C# (not expert-level coding, but able to write and review).

• Experience with YAML build templates, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure (on-premises build infra, virtualization, and cloud migration strategies).

• Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and Bicep (nice to have).

• Ability to work independently, proactively driving improvements and solutions.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills in English; Dutch and French are a plus.

Mission Setup

• Hybrid working model: 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.

• Team presence: Thursdays are mandatory team days; Wednesdays are preferred but flexible.

• Team environment: close collaboration with .NET developers/architects, strong reliance on DevOps platform usage, with shared responsibility and knowledge building.
