Your Role

You’re a Senior Data Analyst with extensive experience in translating complex business questions into clear, reliable, and actionable data insights. You work at the intersection of business and technology, defining meaningful KPIs, shaping data products, and ensuring that decision-makers can rely on high-quality, well-structured data.

You operate confidently within modern data architectures such as Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) and data mesh, and you play a key role in structuring analytical processes within an ICT and Agile environment. Using Power BI and DAX, you turn data into compelling dashboards and reports, while leveraging Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse to correctly position and interpret data within the platform.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will:

• Analyze complex business questions and translate them into clear analytical requirements.
• Define relevant KPIs aligned with business objectives and operational needs.
• Transform structured and semi-structured data using SQL to create reliable, reusable datasets.
• Work within a Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to support scalable and maintainable analytics.
• Think in terms of data products and contribute to data mesh-oriented ways of working.
• Monitor and safeguard data quality through targeted data quality checks and validation processes.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI, using DAX to deliver clear and actionable insights.
• Structure and support analytical processes and projects within an ICT context.
• Collaborate effectively within Agile teams and contribute to continuous improvement of data practices.
• Act as a senior, autonomous professional who communicates clearly and proactively with stakeholders.

Your Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who has:

• 10+ years of experience in business data analysis and KPI definition.
• Strong expertise in SQL for data transformations on structured and semi-structured data.
• Proven experience working with Medallion architectures (Bronze / Silver / Gold).
• Experience with process and project structuring in an ICT environment.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
• Advanced experience in dashboarding and data visualization using Power BI, including DAX.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse concepts.
• A proactive, independent, and communicative working style.
• Fluent in Dutch or French
• Good command of English
