THE OPPORTUNITY

In this role, you will lead the local Business Intelligence team and take ownership of BI delivery, prioritization and stakeholder alignment. You will combine people leadership with hands-on BI expertise to ensure the organization receives clear, reliable and well-presented insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.

You will step into a critical phase where the BI function requires direction, structure and accountability, while continuing to mature data visualization, storytelling and analytics capabilities in close collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities Of This Role

  • Lead, coach and develop a local BI team, ensuring clear priorities and delivery focus
  • Act as primary BI partner for business stakeholders, managing demand and expectations
  • Own backlog prioritization and translate business needs into BI solutions
  • Ensure high-quality dashboards, reports and insights using data from multiple sources
  • Drive data storytelling, visualization standards and usability of BI outputs
  • Support continuous improvement of BI processes, tools and ways of working
  • Contribute operationally when needed to support delivery and team credibility

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or a related field
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in BI, analytics or data-driven roles, including prior hands-on execution
  • Proven experience in people management, team leadership or coaching within a data or analytics environment
  • Strong experience with BI tools, preferably Power BI; experience with SQL, data models and database architecture is a strong advantage
  • Solid understanding of data visualization, dashboard design and data storytelling principles
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong plus
  • Strong stakeholder management, prioritization and decision-making skills in a complex, fast-moving environment
