Essential Responsibilities
- Support the development of language localization pipelines for patient monitoring products.
- Support building and testing AI‑powered tools that improve translation workflows and data flows.
- Experiment with machine translation engines and large language models to evaluate translation quality.
- Run basic linguistic and functional tests to catch issues such as text overflow, inconsistent terminology, or layout problems.
- Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and localization specialists to support best practices.
- Contribute to documentation of tools, processes, and test results for team knowledge sharing.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Computational Linguistics, Localization, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Programming experience (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or similar).
- Hands-on experience working with AI technologies
- Curious, self-driven, motivated to learn and approach challenges
- Collaborative and good communication skills, good spoken and written English and Finnish
- Familiarity with localization formats (e.g. JSON, XML, XLIFF) or translation tools/TMS platforms.
- Experience in NLP, machine translation, or data processing
- Exposure to UX/UI or design considerations for multilingual interfaces.
- Interest in healthcare technology, medical software, or compliance‑driven industries.
