As a Front End Software Engineer at HCLTech, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing dynamic, scalable, and secure web applications for the Life Sciences and Healthcare sector. You will leverage your expertise in modern front-end technologies to create intuitive user interfaces and contribute to mission-critical projects that advance healthcare innovation and improve patient outcomes. Detailed Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React and JavaScript, ensuring robust performance and usability.
• Architect and implement state management solutions for complex frontend systems using libraries such as Redux or Mobx.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs and Websockets to deliver seamless user experiences and real-time functionality.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver project milestones.
• Adhere to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, including source control, configuration management, and participation in continuous integration pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with software security requirements, incorporating Secure SDLC principles and best practices into all stages of development.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications to maintain high standards of quality, security, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and mentoring of junior team members.

Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven proficiency in React and advanced JavaScript concepts.
• Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Mobx.
• Demonstrated ability to consume and integrate REST APIs and Websockets.
• Strong understanding and experience with SDLC processes, source control (e.g., Git), configuration management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of software security requirements, including Secure SDLC methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Other Requirements (Optional):

• Experience with additional front-end frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, unit testing frameworks, or automated testing tools.
• Prior experience in the Life Sciences or Healthcare domain.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Relevant certifications in front-end development, cloud technologies, or security.
