Back End Developer

The role

You’ll be joining a large-scale digital platform operating at European scale, contributing to backend systems that support high-traffic products and internal SaaS tools.

This is a backend-focused role where you’ll work with C# and modern .NET on real production systems. You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, contribute to design and implementation decisions, and gradually take on deeper ownership as the platform evolves.

We’re looking for engineers who enjoy building reliable backend systems, are comfortable working in established codebases, and want to grow their impact in a high-scale, high-quality engineering environment.

What you’ll be working on

• Developing and maintaining backend services and APIs used at scale
• Working on C# / .NET backend systems that support:
• high-traffic public-facing platforms
• SaaS tools used by professional users
• Contributing to service design, implementation, and ongoing improvements
• Supporting production systems by:
• fixing issues
• improving performance and reliability
• learning operational best practices
• Working with the team on:
• CI/CD pipelines
• automated testing
• monitoring and observability
• Collaborating with product and engineering peers across multiple teams

What we’re looking for

Required

• Solid commercial experience with C# / .NET (modern .NET / .NET Core)
• Experience building web APIs using ASP.NET Core
• Good understanding of backend fundamentals (services, APIs, data access)
• Experience working with production systems
• Comfortable learning and contributing within an existing backend architecture

Strong plus

• Exposure to microservices or service-oriented systems
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with:
• CI/CD pipelines
• automated testing
• monitoring and logging
• Experience contributing to high-traffic platforms or SaaS products
