The O pportunity
Worldline is seeking an experienced and motivated Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving data management and analysis initiatives that support our organization's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of our data assets while leveraging your expertise to derive actionable insights for decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that meet those needs. You will also own end-user support for the data platform and data products (internal users only), including helpdesk, training, and ongoing process improvements to ensure data quality and effective use of data tools.

Worldline is seeking an experienced and motivated Data Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving data management and analysis initiatives that support our organization's strategic objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of our data assets while leveraging your expertise to derive actionable insights for decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that meet those needs. You will also own end-user support for the data platform and data products (internal users only), including helpdesk, training, and ongoing process improvements to ensure data quality and effective use of data tools.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that BI solutions align with business goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze data requirements, and develop strategies for effective data collection and master data management. This includes managing the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data to ensure accuracy and consistency across the organization.
- Provide end-user support for data platform and data products (incident resolution, training, and process improvement); assist users with data quality questions and share best practices.
- Develop, maintain and document data quality standards, ensuring data integrity and compliance between the different data providers.
- Create clear and insightful data visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders, management, and other relevant parties.
- Validate and ensure data integrity and accuracy in BI reports.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses and provide strategic recommendations based on findings.
- Present data insights and visualizations to management and cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data management, analysis, and visualization, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in SQL or other relevant programming languages for data manipulation and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling data visualizations and reports using tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into practical solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and privacy regulations, with experience in implementing and maintaining data quality and security standards is a plus
