Project Controls Manager – Life Sciences / Regulated Manufacturing (Freelance)

We are supporting a major regulated manufacturing programme in Switzerland with the appointment of an experienced Project Controls Manager to join a client-side project team on a contract basis.

The Role

You will take ownership of project controls across a live life sciences CAPEX programme, working closely with engineering, delivery, and senior stakeholders. Construction planning is managed separately; your focus will be on schedule governance, integration, and performance reporting, ensuring alignment across the programme and into downstream readiness activities.

Background We’re Looking For

We are open on job titles and organisational background, but experience in regulated life sciences environments is essential.

Relevant experience may include:

• Project Controls Manager, Controls Lead, Senior Planner, Project Controls Lead
• 5+ years’ experience within pharmaceutical or life sciences projects
• Strong exposure to commissioning, qualification and validation (CQV)
• Experience in cleanroom and sterile / aseptic manufacturing environments
• Facilities and process equipment planning and controls
• Experience managing integrated schedules and governance frameworks

Titles are flexible — controls ownership and regulated experience are not.
