Senior Frontend Engineer (React / Vue + Typescript) - Customer Service

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract based: 1 year

Team Context

Our Customer Service squad builds and enhances support experiences across AstraTech products. We work closely with CRM and internal platforms to improve agent productivity and customer outcomes, with a strong focus on AI-assisted customer service.

Role Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (React/Vue) to lead the development of modern, scalable user experiences for customer service workflows. You’ll build agent-facing tools and dashboards that integrate AI assistance to help teams resolve issues faster, smarter, and more accurately.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain complex UIs using React or Vue + TypeScript for customer service workflows
• Design and develop reusable components and scalable frontend arch
• State management
• Routing
• Shared UI patterns
• Implement core customer support experiences:
• Case views
• Timelines
• Forms
• Queues
• Templates
• Attachments
• Integrate AI-assisted features into the UX (e.g. summaries, suggested replies, smart guidance) with clear review and approval flows
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and operations teams to deliver improvements that impact CSAT and operational efficiency
• Ensure high quality through code reviews, testing, performance tuning, and reliable release practices
• Mentor engineers and help define frontend standards and best practices

What You Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with React or Vue and TypeScript
• Solid background in component-based UI development and design consistency
• Strong testing experience:
• Unit & component testing (Jest / Vitest)
• E2E testing (Cypress / Playwright — a plus)
• Experience integrating with APIs and managing complex UI states
• Excellent communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with CRM or customer support platforms (any major vendor)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted product features and “human-in-the-loop” UX patterns
• Experience with monorepos (Nx, Turborepo), micro frontends, or design systems
• Knowledge of observability and frontend performance monitoring
