Role Summary

We are seeking a DevOps / DevSecOps Engineer with strong experience in containerisation, Kubernetes orchestration, and CI/CD automation. The role focuses on building, securing, and operating reliable deployment pipelines and production-grade Kubernetes environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Build and manage containerised applications using Docker
• Manage Kubernetes clusters using Rancher
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
• Apply DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, secrets management, RBAC, and policy enforcement
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployments
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, pipeline, and deployment issues
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to improve reliability and delivery speed
• Enforce best practices for scalability, availability, and security

Required Skills

• Year of Experience 5+ Years
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (cloud or on-premises)
• Strong knowledge of Docker and container life cycle management
• Experience with Rancher for Kubernetes cluster management
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and security-first delivery
• Strong Linux fundamentals
• Experience with YAML and shell scripting
• Experience with Helm / Helmfile

Desirable

• Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform preferred)
• Knowledge of ingress controllers, service meshes, or API gateways
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, OpenTelemetry)
• Openshift Experience
