Campus Networking and Catalyst Center and Cisco ISE
Cisco Catalyst Center Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Cisco Catalyst Center solutions. This role involves working closely with network architects, engineers, and administrators to ensure the efficient operation and optimization of network infrastructure. Candidate should have extentive network security products handson experience with SME level expertise for Cisco ISE products .
Below are the Job description requirements
- Knowledge on OSI & TCP/IP Network protocol architecture, Layering benefits and concept, functions of different layers, switches and LAN design, VLAN"s
- Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers/switches
- Routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP). WAN transport technologies (Private/Leased Line, MPLS,)
- Switching : VLAN, STP, VTP, HSRP
- Very good knowledge of network concepts 802.1x, STP,GRE, DMZ VPNs, VLAN configurations
- Cisco WAAS , Wireless and IP management
- Experience in analyzing network traces
- Cisco wireless 9800 WLC Day2 operations administration and troubleshooting . Good understanding of RF radios / signal strength / AP positioning is required .
- Maintain up-to-date network topology diagrams, runbooks, and change records.
- Collaborate with vendors (Cisco TAC, Service Providers) for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
- Design and deploy Cisco Catalyst Center solutions to meet organizational requirements.
- Configure and manage Cisco Catalyst Center for network automation, assurance, and analytics.
- Collaborate with network architects to develop and implement network strategies.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using Cisco Catalyst Center tools.
- Provide technical support and guidance to network administrators and engineers.
- Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Cisco Catalyst Center features and industry trends.
- Design and Deployment of ISE : Design, deploy, and manage Cisco ISE solutions for network access control (NAC) across enterprise environments.
- Configuration Management of ISE : Configure and maintain authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) policies, integrating ISE with Active Directory, PKI, and other identity management systems.
- Implementation of Security Protocols of ISE : Implement 802.1X, posture assessment, and profiling for both wired and wireless networks.
- Troubleshooting of ISE : Troubleshoot and resolve ISE-related issues, including RADIUS and TACACS+ problems, ensuring optimal performance of ISE deployments.
- Documentation of ISE : Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, policies, and procedures related to Cisco ISE.
- Collaboration of ISE : Work closely with network and security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Maintenance of ISE : Perform upgrades, patches, and health checks on ISE appliances to ensure system reliability and security
