What Youll Do

Design, build, and own scalable Java/Spring Boot services running in cloud-based, distributed environments.

Build and evolve microservices, APIs, and data models with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.

Translate complex business requirements into clean, maintainable backend solutions.

Work closely with product, frontend, platform, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Own service quality metrics across latency, throughput, availability, and resilience.

Debug and resolve complex production issues across services using strong root-cause analysis.

Raise engineering standards through code reviews, testing, observability, and best practices.

Must-Haves

What You Bring:

Proven experience building and scaling backend services for large consumer or enterprise systems.

Strong ability to translate business requirements into clean, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions.

Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices-based architectures.

Solid understanding of distributed systems, including scalability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning.

Experience working with cloud platforms and modern deployment environments.

Strong collaboration skills with frontend, product, platform, and data teams.

High ownership mindset with the ability to deliver in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Clear communication skills and a strong sense of engineering accountability.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with NoSQL datastores, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or event-driven architectures.

Exposure to observability, monitoring, and production debugging in distributed systems.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience working in high-growth product teams or at scale in complex systems.
