In this role, you will be responsible for designing core backend services, improving system architecture, and contributing to the overall reliability and performance of distributed systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go.
- Build and scale microservices-based architectures for modern applications.
- Own backend components end to end, from system design through production deployment.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance optimization across backend systems.
- Collaborate closely with product, frontend, AI, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions.
- Review code and uphold engineering best practices and standards.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, including root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making.
- 5+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Go.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of concurrency concepts, including goroutines, channels, and memory management.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design capabilities.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Cloud exposure across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Prior experience working in high-scale or AI-driven systems.
