Cyber Security Analyst - £70K - London (Hybrid, 2 days per week in the office)

La Fosse has partnered with a leading legal firm to recruit a Cyber Security Analyst to join their established team. This role is ideal for a cyber security specialist ready to take ownership and drive the organisation’s information security programme
Key requirements:
- Proven experience in information security and leading security programmes.
- Experience creating cyber security roadmaps and technology improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of information security principles, frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials), and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies: firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, EDR, and identity management solutions.
- Experience managing security incidents and conducting incident response.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Ability to set vision, engage stakeholders, and drive outcomes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with cloud security (e.g., Azure Security, AWS Security).
- Experience selecting and managing third-party suppliers and security solutions.
- Technically astute with knowledge of IT operations and infrastructure.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or cloud security certifications.
