LATAM Full Stack Web-Based Developer (Java + Angular)
Remote Position
English Level B2 or more required.
Contractor Position for 12 Months (with possibility of extension)
Mandatory Skills: 5+ years of professional experience in Java and Angular (Angular 8+ preferred)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web-Based Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of web-based technologies, API/Microservices architecture on Java, and modern front-end frameworks like Angular. S/he will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications that align with the client’s needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance Java-based web applications.
- Implement and manage RESTful APIs and Microservices to support business functionalities.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces using Angular.
- Ensure cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility for web applications.
- Write responsive HTML and CSS to ensure web applications provide an optimal user experience across devices, including desktops, tablets, and mobile phones.
- Work on system design and architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decision-making processes.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across various environments.
- Optimize application performance and scalability through tuning and refactoring.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java web-based development.
- Proficient in Angular (Angular 8+ preferred) and TypeScript.
- Strong expertise in building RESTful APIs and Microservices.
- Solid understanding of Spring, Spring Boot framework, Hibernate and BIRT reporting.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript ES6+.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Proven experience with Azure cloud platform is a must.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment.
