Project Manager Scrum Master

Role Overview:

The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile practices within the team, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, and enabling continuous improvement. This role acts as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator to help the team deliver high-quality products efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the Team: Guide team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and Scrum practices.
• Remove Impediments: Identify and resolve blockers that hinder progress.
• Ensure Transparency: Maintain and communicate progress through metrics like burndown charts and velocity.
• Collaborate with Product Owner: Support backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Promote Continuous Improvement: Encourage feedback loops and process enhancements.
• Shield the Team: Protect the team from external disruptions and scope creep.
• Track and Report: Monitor sprint progress and provide updates to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to coach and mentor teams and stakeholders.
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Rally, Trello).
• Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

• 3+ years as a Scrum Master or in an Agile environment.
• Background in software development or IT projects is a plus.
