About the Role
We are a central, horizontal analytics team responsible for delivering company‑wide executive and leadership reporting. This role plays a critical part in enabling data‑driven decision‑making at the most senior levels of the business.
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will own the end‑to‑end delivery of high‑impact analytical reporting used by executive and senior leadership. Your work will directly influence strategic decisions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end delivery of executive and leadership reporting, primarily monthly, with occasional weekly and ad‑hoc views.
- Design, build, and maintain high‑quality dashboards and reports that clearly surface business performance, trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partner closely with senior stakeholders to clarify reporting requirements, define success metrics, and translate ambiguous business questions into scalable data solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and trust through metric validation, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Proactively identify insights and anomalies, and communicate findings through concise, executive‑ready narratives.
- Collaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, Finance, and Sales teams to improve data pipelines, models, and metric standardisation.
- Respond to time‑sensitive executive requests with urgency while maintaining analytical rigour and quality.
Typical Day
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and refine reporting requirements.
- Explore analytical approaches and propose data solutions.
- Partner with Data Engineers to implement and validate dashboards and reports.
- Perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business definitions.
- Launch and iterate reporting products based on stakeholder feedback.
- Collaborate daily with BI, Data Science, Data Engineering, Finance, and Sales teams.
Skills & Experience
Required Experience
- Approximately 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics (candidates with fewer years may be considered if availability aligns with timeline).
- Strong experience building dashboards and reports for senior leadership audiences.
Technical Skills (Must‑Have)
- Tableau – advanced dashboard design and delivery
- SQL – strong data querying and validation skills
- Data storytelling – ability to present insights that drive business outcomes
Soft Skills
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business language.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environments.
