Job Purpose
Our growth partner is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and build end-to-end applications, creating responsive user interfaces with React while developing server-side logic, APIs, and managing database interactions using Node.js. The role involves ensuring smooth integration between the front-end and back-end, optimizing performance, and maintaining high-quality code across the stack. You will work on improving existing applications by debugging, refactoring code, and implementing updates to meet changing requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with teams to review legacy code, streamline workflows, and ensure applications are scalable and maintainable for the future.

Job Purpose
Our growth partner is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and build end-to-end applications, creating responsive user interfaces with React while developing server-side logic, APIs, and managing database interactions using Node.js. The role involves ensuring smooth integration between the front-end and back-end, optimizing performance, and maintaining high-quality code across the stack. You will work on improving existing applications by debugging, refactoring code, and implementing updates to meet changing requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with teams to review legacy code, streamline workflows, and ensure applications are scalable and maintainable for the future.
Responsibilities
- Produce a foolproof code and be able to work unsupervised with a “can do” attitude with that extra mile to ensure that what is delivered is above and beyond expectations.
- Working within an agile scrum team and proactively engaging in and leading team discussions, feature planning, backlog refinement and retrospective meetings.
- Perform effective code reviews.
- Help the team effectively manage the backlog of feature work, quality improvements and tech debt. Help support the diagnosis of production issues when they happen
- 5+ years of experience working extensively with React.js, Redux, Next.js (SSR & ISR), and modern front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript).
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, AWS SQS, and EC2 Elastic Cloud.
- Familiarity with storage solutions (e.g., AWS S3).
- Experience with deployment tools and CI/CD frameworks (e.g., Docker, GitHub Actions, Heroku, Netlify, AWS ECR)
- Solid understanding of API development, with experience in REST API and GraphQL.
- Exposure to AI platforms or tools (e.g., OpenAI, AssemblyAI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Web Real-Time Communication (nice to have).
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment with competing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and contribute to team success.
- A passion for writing high-quality code and constantly improving software engineering practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
