DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated Cloud and DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have over three years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines. The Cloud and DevOps Engineer will collaborate closely with Architects, IT Engineers, Developers, and Security Analysts to ensure our cloud strategies align with and support our overarching organizational objectives. The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a security-first mindset.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS Developer Tools, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and BitBucket Pipelines.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Amazon EKS, and Amazon ECS.
- Define and manage cloud security and access controls using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and the Serverless Framework.
- Author and maintain scripts in Bash and Python to automate operational tasks and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application-level issues.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies and services to enhance our cloud capabilities.
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of three years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proven experience leading teams.
- In-depth knowledge of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with relevant tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
- Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, ECS).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.
- Comprehensive understanding of AWS IAM and cloud security best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Fluent level of English
