Senior Software Developer

We’re recruiting a Senior Frontend Developer (m/f/d) for a fast-growing AI software company building a cutting-edge Semantic AI / Natural Language Understanding platform. This role focuses on the continued development of a complex, user-facing web application used to automate cognitive tasks in customer service and enterprise environments.

You’ll join an agile software development team and play a key role in shaping frontend architecture, UI quality, and overall product experience.

Your Role

• Develop and evolve the frontend of a Semantic AI web platform as part of a Scrum team
• Actively contribute to frontend architecture and technical design decisions
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to translate wireframes into scalable UI solutions
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews and technical support for colleagues
• Help shape a modern, intuitive user experience in a complex, data-driven product

What We’re Looking For

• Completed IT-related education (university, university of applied sciences, or technical college)
• Several years of professional experience in frontend development

Strong hands-on expertise with:

• React
• TypeScript / JavaScript
• HTML & CSS
• Git
• Experience integrating and testing RESTful APIs ( OpenAPI )
• Solid understanding of modern UI and UX design principles
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Cypress
• German speaking

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern UI frameworks (e.g. Chakra UI or similar)
• Familiarity with state management libraries
• Confident use of Figma
• Experience working in agile environments (Scrum)
• Practical knowledge of Jira and Confluence
