Atlas is expanding its engineering capabilities with the establishment of a dedicated Engineering Hub in Riga. The hub is designed to bring together top engineering talent to work on advanced robotics, autonomy, and defense related systems that are deployed globally.


Engineers at the Atlas Engineering Hub will work in an international environment, collaborating with teams and partners across multiple countries, while remaining based in Latvia. The focus of the hub is on real-world engineering programs and platforms, from system architecture and integration to advanced autonomy and mission level capabilities.

Role Description:


Atlas HUB team are seeking a motivated and versatile Board Design Electronic Engineer to join our Hardware (HW) team. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary group, contributing to R&D efforts and enhancing our cutting-edge systems from concept through mass production.


This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Riga, Latvia.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and layout multi-layered PCBs for analog, digital, and mixed-signal systems.
  • Design system block diagrams and power trees.
  • Select components and create schematics.
  • Perform component placement and board layout.
  • Execute ATP and bring-up processes for new electronic designs (hands-on).
  • Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers during the design process.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for designs, tests, and bring-up procedures.


Required skills:

  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in PCB design.
  • Skilled in PCB layout design.
  • High motivation and ability to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with a remote team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Hands-on approach, solution-oriented, self-motivated, and strong teamwork qualities.
  • Would be an advantage: Proficiency with Altium Designer software. Experience in hands-on soldering, wiring, and electronics lab work
