WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

• Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
• User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
• Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
• Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

You will be working on core banking infrastructure and platforms supporting critical financial systems, customer-facing services, analytics, and downstream digital channels, with a strong focus on stability, security, and regulatory compliance.

You will work hands-on with AWS cloud infrastructure, Linux-based virtual machines, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes, supporting both cloud-native and VM-based banking workloads. Safe change execution, system reliability, performance troubleshooting, and observability will be part of your daily work, with a strong focus on minimizing customer impact.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, architects, and platform teams in an Agile environment, navigating enterprise ownership boundaries and strict security controls with disciplined delivery and clear documentation.

DO YOU HAVE...

🌟 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/infrastructure experience in production.

🌟 Strong practical experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, VPC, IAM, load balancing).

🌟 Solid, real-world use of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management.

🌟 Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm in production.

🌟 Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.

🌟 Strong Linux troubleshooting and operational skills.

🌟 Practical experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK.

🌟 Security-aware mindset, applying IAM, secrets management, and least-privilege access.

🌟 Experience owning and operating business-critical systems and collaborating across teams.

🚀 Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.

🚀 Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments, improve efficiency, and increase system stability.

🚀 Operate and support Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized environments to enable smooth application deployment and scalability.

🚀 Use Terraform and IaC best practices to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
