About the role

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer to build fast, intuitive, and reliable experiences for restaurant teams. As one of the early members of our tech team, you’ll also help shape our backend architecture, coding standards, and engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Architect and optimize data structures and design scalable relational databases
• Develop, document and maintain RESTful APIs using Laravel
• Build reliable integrations with third party systems and providers
• Write clean, well tested code
• Manage application deployment and infrastructure using CI/CD practices
• Contribute to architectural decisions and improve existing codebases
• Collaborate with product department to deliver high-quality features
• Take full ownership of your work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack or backend engineer with PHP Laravel framework
• Focused on the backend primarily, with some front end (Vue.js / React)
• Attention to detail, code quality
• A product mindset: you care about the why behind what you’re building
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical teammates
• A keen eye for detail and a sense of pride in crafting great user experiences
• Ability to work independently and in a small, fast-paced team
• Motivation to learn, grow, and contribute beyond just coding

Position is full-time and on-site (Vilnius). The salary range for this position is € 2,500 - 5,000 gross per month.
