Full-Stack Engineer – Architect-Level

WinMatch is supporting a high-potential tech startup at an early stage in hiring a Senior / Principal Full-Stack Engineer to play a key, structuring role in the construction of a data & AI-native SaaS platform designed to become a market standard.

This is not a classic execution role. It is a high-ownership technical position, with direct responsibility for architecture, scalability, and product quality, working very closely with the CTO. You will be almost the only Full-Stack Engineer at the core of the product. This role comes with real architectural ownership, without heavy processes or internal politics.

You will design and build a clean, scalable, long-term system that you truly own. The platform is data-intensive, with real challenges around search, matching, performance, and scalability.

AI is not a buzzword here, but a real engineering lever, progressively embedded into the product. Daily use of ChatGPT, Claude, and AI-assisted development tools is part of the engineering culture, both to improve productivity and to explore AI-driven product capabilities.

The company is largely composed of PhDs / doctoral-level profiles, creating an intellectually rigorous environment where technical depth, clarity, and quality truly matter.

Full-Stack Engineer : Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Lead the strategic migration to React / Next.js, moving away from legacy systems
• Design and evolve a modern software architecture (APIs, decoupled services, performance, maintainability)
• Ensure code quality, robustness, and testability
• Work in direct partnership with the CTO, challenging and structuring technical decisions
• Anticipate and design for long-term scalability

Tech stack (indicative):

• React / Next.js
• Node.js / TypeScript / Python
• REST / GraphQL APIs, microservices
• Cloud infrastructure, Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong foundations in software architecture and data engineering

Full-Stack Engineer : Your profile:

• Senior Full-Stack / Architect-level Engineer with between 8 to 10 years of exp.
• Comfortable building from scratch and making structuring technical decisions
• Autonomous, responsible, with a long-term technical vision
• English speaker
• Strong proficiency in handling complex data modeling
• AI-powered productivity, you leverage tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot...
• At ease in high-expectation, intellectually demanding environments
• EU validated work permit

• Attractive salary, aligned with your level of seniority between 80k and 100K yearly base salary
