Senior Java Full-Stack Developer

We are currently seeking a Senior Java Full-Stack Developer able to modernise enterprise Java applications, design and integrate robust APIs and contribute end-to-end across backend and Angular-based frontends in a large-scale environment for a prestigious European Institution in Luxembourg. 🔍🇪🇺

🖥️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Modernise and maintain large-scale Java enterprise applications, including upgrades from Java 8 to recent LTS versions using Spring Boot;
• Design, develop and integrate API-driven solutions (REST/OpenAPI, GraphQL) and support asynchronous, event-based integrations;
• Develop and maintain backend services deployed on Tomcat, containerised with Docker and integrated within cloud or hybrid environments;
• Contribute to frontend development using Angular, ensuring responsive, accessible and well-structured user interfaces aligned with backend services.

📝 REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong professional experience with Java (8+), including Spring Boot for backend development;
• Proven experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs (OpenAPI/Swagger);
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, particularly Oracle and PostgreSQL, including SQL and data migration concepts;
• Hands-on experience with frontend development using Angular, alongside HTML5, CSS3 and modern build tools;
• Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes;
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging platforms (Kafka or equivalent);
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automated testing practices.
• University degree in Computer Science or relevant fields;
• Fluency in English (C1);
• Ability to work in multicultural and international settings.

This is a hybrid role, requiring on-site presence at the Luxembourg office 3-4 days per week. 📍
