Malwarebytes is looking for...

We are looking for skilled engineers with expertise in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-based systems to support our subscription management, payment processing, and related services. You'll join a collaborative, inclusive team of engineers, UX designers, and product managers, playing a vital role in technical decision-making, performance improvements, and application development.

What You’ll Do

Design and implement scalable, production-ready APIs, database models, and schemas for core applications
Contribute to the design of cloud infrastructure with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability
Write and review high-quality, maintainable code that aligns with long-term business needs
Support fellow engineers through collaboration, documentation, unit testing, and peer reviews
Collaborate across engineering teams to identify performance enhancements and scalability improvements

Skills You’ll Need To Have

5+ years of professional experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Ruby
Proficiency in cloud product development, including schema design, data modeling, and optimization
Experience with Ruby on Rails or Grape, and familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
Familiarity with AWS technologies (ECS, Lambda, S3, SQS, DynamoDB) for cloud application development
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for reliable and efficient deployments
Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL principles, with familiarity in API scalability and WebSockets
Problem-solving attitude and willingness to contribute to projects that support Malwarebytes' success
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience

Nice To Have Skills

Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.
Knowledge of tools for build, packaging, and deployment, like Webpack, Vite, npm, yarn, Docker, and Jenkins
