Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to design, build, and scale high-performance web applications. You’ll own backend architecture while also contributing to frontend development using React.js. This role requires deep technical expertise, system-level thinking, and the ability to mentor engineers and drive best practices across the stack.

Key Responsibilities

Backend (Primary Focus)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs (and/or GraphQL)
• Design and manage MongoDB schemas, indexes, and performance tuning
• Ensure high availability, security, and scalability of backend systems
• Handle authentication, authorization, and data protection
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested backend code
• Debug complex production issues and improve system reliability

Frontend

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.js
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver seamless UX
• Optimize frontend performance and state management
• Ensure cross-browser and responsive compatibility

Architecture & Collaboration

• Participate in system design discussions and technical decision-making
• Review code and enforce best practices across the team
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers
• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience
• Strong expertise in Node.js and backend architecture
• Solid experience with MongoDB (schema design, indexing, optimization)
• Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience building scalable, production-grade APIs
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Familiarity with REST standards, API security, and performance optimization

Good to Have

• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of message queues, caching (Redis), or search systems
• Prior experience in high-traffic or SaaS applications
