Mobile App Developer (iOS & Android) - Ile Maurice

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance the MOHE mobile app for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Design and implement clean, user-friendly interfaces based on platform-specific guidelines.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the app with backend services and APIs.
  • Optimize app performance, including load times, responsiveness, and battery efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the firmware and backend teams to enable smooth data transfer from MOHE devices to the app.
  • Manage app deployment and updates on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Monitor and resolve bugs and issues, ensuring high reliability and user satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile app development.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development, or cross-platform tools like React Native or Flutter.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and cloud-based integration.
  • Knowledge of mobile-specific optimization techniques, including performance tuning and device compatibility.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and creating intuitive, user-friendly apps.
  • Experience managing app lifecycles, including submission and updates to App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for mobile apps.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with healthcare or diagnostic apps.
  • Familiarity with Bluetooth or other wireless protocols for device communication.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
