Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Engineer – £75,000 – £105,000 + Bonus

London (Hybrid – 2 days per week)

I am working with a big name in financial services upping its AI game, especially around Agentic AI and LLMs. They are looking for an AI Engineer who loves building smart, practical AI systems and wants to get stuck into real innovation.

You will be working on LLM driven and agentic AI projects, building production features with Python + AWS, supporting a GenAI team, and having influence on where their AI strategy goes next.

Key Responsibilities

• Building and shaping AI‑powered applications using Python, LLMs and AWS
• Contributing to and supporting a GenAI feature team
• Getting hands‑on with design decisions, code reviews and engineering best practice
• Partnering closely with product and design teams to turn concepts into real solutions
• Evaluating LLM performance, tuning prompts and improving model safety
• Helping to define and evolve the company’s GenAI and agentic AI strategy

Required Experience

• Strong experience with Python
• Hands‑on work with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Good knowledge of AWS
• Experience improving prompts and evaluating LLM outputs
