DevOps SRE – GitHub (L3 / L4) 6 months contract

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps SRE – GitHub (L3 / L4) to join our growing team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Overall experience should be 6 - 10+ years in DevOps / SRE roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with GitHub (Enterprise), Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale DevOps platforms.
• Strong proficiency in GitHub (Enterprise) including orgs, teams, permissions, and webhooks.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), particularly complex YAML pipelines.
• Experience integrating SonarQube for code quality, SAST, and quality gate enforcement.
• Hands-on experience with JFrog Artifactory for artifact management.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Ability to support and onboard multiple application teams.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep).
• Background in software development (Java, .NET, or Node.js).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and automation standards.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Act as a bridge between application development teams and infrastructure.
• Migrate source code repositories from legacy systems to GitHub.
• Define and enforce branching strategies, repository standards, and protection rules.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Create reusable YAML pipeline templates for standardization.
• Integrate SonarQube for automated code quality and security scanning.
• Configure pipelines to publish artifacts to JFrog Artifactory.
• Support artifact lifecycle management and retention policies.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and DevOps tooling issues.
• Create documentation, how-to guides, and best practices for developer self-service.
