Cloud Network Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced AWS Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud networking solutions. Join a collaborative team delivering robust infrastructure and hybrid connectivity across complex AWS environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document VPC architectures, Transit Gateway, and inter-VPC connectivity.
• Engineer hybrid connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, IPsec VPNs, and BGP routing.
• Implement and maintain network security controls (Security Groups, NACLs, Network Firewall, WAF).
• Operate and monitor network services using CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and GuardDuty.
• Automate deployments using Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK.
• Collaborate with application, security, and platform teams to deliver resilient solutions.

Essential Criteria:

• Expert knowledge of AWS networking (VPC, TGW, STNO, PrivateLink, endpoints, NAT/Egress).
• Strong routing fundamentals and hybrid connectivity experience.
• Proven experience implementing network security and compliance controls.
• Hands-on with IaC tools (Terraform/CloudFormation) and scripting.
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:

• AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
• Vendor networking certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE)
• Terraform Associate or demonstrable IaC portfolio

Desirable Experience:

• AWS Organizations/Control Tower landing zones
• Container networking (EKS, CNI) and service mesh
• Palo Alto firewall administration
