ACENSI BELGIUM is looking for his client a Junior Network Engineer (F/M/X)

Mission Context

The mission takes place within a network operations team responsible for the setup, security, and daily operations of an enterprise network supporting industrial and office environments. The team operates in a 24/7 context, across multiple European locations, and is involved in a wide range of projects including data center connectivity, cloud integration, WAN modernization, and support for application-driven network evolutions.

Function Description

As a Junior Network Engineer / NOC Engineer, you will work within a team supporting critical activities running 24/7. You will operate in both IT and OT environments, requiring a high level of diligence when preparing and executing changes. You will contribute to daily operations, incident resolution, and the deployment and maintenance of network systems, while supporting colleagues across different European locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day network operations in a 24/7 environment.
• Participate in the deployment and maintenance of IT and OT systems.
• Analyze and resolve incidents and technical issues.
• Execute changes carefully in IT/OT environments.
• Support internal teams across multiple European locations.
• Contribute to ongoing network and infrastructure projects.
  
  

Technical Skills

• Operational knowledge of firewalls (Palo Alto, Check Point).
• Basic understanding of routing and switching (CCNA level).
• Familiarity with Cisco CLI.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Exposure to monitoring, NAC, central syslog, and authentication tools.
• OT experience is a plus.
• First relevant professional experience in a similar role.
  
  

Education & Background

• Background in Computer Science or related field is an asset.
• Junior profile with initial hands-on experience in network operations.
