Senior Product Designer, Visual Experience

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to help define and raise the bar for visual quality and experience across Bolt’s products. This role focuses on designing in-product assets and visual experiences, defining scalable standards, and collaborating with product and brand teams to ensure our identity is expressed clearly and engaging across our apps.

About The Role

In this position, you’ll play a key role in shaping how Bolt’s brand comes to life across product and promotional surfaces, delivering high-quality, visually engaging experiences that connect with millions of users.

You’ll collaborate closely with other Product Designers, Brand, Marketing, and Engineering teams to design scalable UI and creative assets, define and maintain visual standards, and ensure consistency across touchpoints. Your work will span in-app visuals, and motion design, balancing creative expression with usability and performance.

Your ability to blend visual excellence with system thinking and cross-functional collaboration will be essential to creating intuitive, delightful experiences across Bolt’s ecosystem. You won’t just execute visuals, but help set standards, define frameworks, and raise the bar for visual craft across teams.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Design visually compelling assets for in-product use and promotional campaigns
• Shape and evolve visual patterns, and guidelines that scale across products, teams, and markets
• Create and manage reusable, scalable components and templates in UI kits and design system libraries.
• Ensure brand consistency and visual quality across all product surfaces and communication channels
• Contribute to the evolution of the product’s visual language in partnership with Design Systems and Brand teams
• Support motion and interaction design through thoughtful use of animation, and micro-interactions
  
  
  

About you:

• You have strong portfolio proving your visual design craft applied to digital products (typography, motion, layout, iconography)
• You communicate clearly, you’re comfortable influencing decisions by providing a strong rationale for your proposals
• You have experience working within or contributing to a design system and understand the importance of consistency and scalability
• You care deeply about visual craft, usability, and how design impacts the user experience
• You have experience with motion design (animations, micro-interactions), 3D illustrations, and using AI in a visual context, even if it’s not your primary focus
• You feel comfortable working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other Product Designers, and understand how decisions are made and shipped in product teams
