Title: Cybersecurity Engineer

Overview:
Join a dynamic team safeguarding critical Air Traffic Management (ATM) systems. Design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with international regulations and robust operational security.
Key Responsibilities:
Security Implementation: Deploy security requirements and enhancements for systems in line with safety and business specifications.
Hands-On Solutions: Design, configure, and troubleshoot secure solutions aligned with the organization's strategy.
Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, address vulnerabilities, and adhere to regulatory standards.
Incident Response: Investigate security incidents, propose preventative measures, and enhance response procedures.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Build relationships with internal and external partners, including regulatory bodies and vendors.
Policy Compliance: Ensure operational security policies align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Adherence: Manage compliance with NIS/NIS-2 Security Directives and address associated gaps.
Training Oversight: Supervise ATSEP Security training delivered by third parties.
Capability Development: Establish in-house protocols for system restoration in critical failure scenarios.
Innovation: Develop security labs and lead initiatives for process and technological improvements.
Governance: Drive governance frameworks for secure system design in partnership with engineering experts.
Program Management: Oversee work programs to meet national and organizational security objectives.
Advisory Role: Provide expertise and support to leadership and management as needed.
Regulatory Engagement: Represent the organization in relevant forums and with oversight bodies.
Adaptability: Undertake additional duties as assigned to address emerging challenges.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years in cybersecurity-focused engineering.
- Expertise in firewalls, IDS, IP networks, and data encryption.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Independent and team-oriented work capabilities.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS benchmarks, and audit compliance tools.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU/ICAO), risk assessments, and training delivery.
