We're working with Amazon Web Services on this exciting opportunity. We are seeking a driven Systems Development Engineer to join a high-security systems engineering team, focusing on operating physical access control systems and automating robust architectures for future growth within a classified environment.

The Role

• Architect and implement enterprise-scale security solutions, including custom PACS integrations and automation frameworks.

• Design and develop high-availability distributed systems with an emphasis on security, scalability, and fault tolerance.

• Lead the development of custom security tools for system hardening, threat detection, and automated incident response.

• Architect and implement zero-trust security models for critical infrastructure components.

• Build extensible management tooling and automate scalable infrastructure through code.

• Own integrations with enterprise and commodity hardware through proprietary and open-source protocols.

What You'll Need

• Strong knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).

• Professional software development experience.

• Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).

• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.

• Must be a national of an EU member state.

• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Java is preferred.
