Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Specialist to strengthen and enhance our organisation’s security posture, with a focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Microsoft-based security technologies. You will collaborate closely with technical, operational, and governance teams to support security initiatives, maintain robust access controls, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and implement security initiatives across identity and Microsoft security tools.
• Optimise and maintain security controls and automation within Microsoft 365 environments.
• Assist with core security tools, including Privileged Access Management (PAM) and cloud access controls.
• Support IAM and access governance processes, including Joiner/Mover/Leaver workflows and access reviews.
• Contribute to data protection efforts, security assessments, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review and interpret security reports, maintain documentation, and provide guidance to technical teams.
• Serve as a point of contact for IAM-related security queries and assist with incident response.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3-4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IAM-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies and identity-related controls.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory and cloud identity management (e.g., Entra ID).
• Experience working with PAM solutions (e.g., CyberArk) and IAM/IGA platforms.
• Understanding of access governance concepts, including SoD, access reviews, and policy enforcement.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within a security function.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., Microsoft Security, CyberArk, CISSP) are a plus but not required.
