Senior Software Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development and growth of our backend systems at Spinwise. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance backend solutions that support engaging player experiences. This role suits someone who enjoys building new functionality and improving system reliability, rather than maintaining legacy systems.

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Participating in designing and implementing of integrations and internal systems
• Contributing to the development of new products through active participation in product ideation and development
• Ensuring timely and regular upgrades of libraries and code refactorings
• Identifying opportunities for scaling products and driving business growth through continuous innovation and development initiatives

Our requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proficiency in Node.js (Express.js, NestJS, or other relevant backend frameworks)
• Understanding of microservice architecture and experience with high-load applications
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis
• Prior experience in application optimisation, including performance tuning and efficient resource usage
• Knowledge of the Fintech industry
• A commitment to staying up-to-date with modern development trends and best practices
