Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack Engineer | High-Performance Trading Systems | Hybrid (NL)

Build scalable backend systems powering a global trading platform used at serious scale.

This is a Full Stack Engineering role within a small, senior engineering team. The company was recently acquired by a major US-based crypto exchange, combining long-term stability with a strong engineering-led culture.

You’ll own real production systems, ship frequently, and work closely with product and frontend — without bureaucracy.

What you’ll actually do

• Design and build backend services and internal systems
• Work mainly with Erlang / Elixir / Java / TypeScript
• Collaborate with frontend & product teams
• Review frontend code from an external team
• Own features end-to-end, from idea to production

What we’re looking for

• 2–5 years professional experience (Medior → lower Senior)
• Experience with Erlang, Elixir, Java, or TypeScript
• Open to working with Erlang
• Working knowledge of React
• Comfortable building admin tools / internal platforms
• Experience working in small teams

We value engineers who can explain their thinking, explore alternatives, and talk through trade-offs — not just write code.

• Can clearly walk through something you’ve built end-to-end

Team & setup

• Team of 5 engineers (2 Full-stack, 3 Frontend)
• Hybrid: 3 days office / 2 remote
• Work abroad: 60 days every 6 months
