If you think you’re up to the challenge, come and help us grow, innovate, and develop!

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will build and support data-intensive systems that power solutions for professional sports. You’ll play a key role in shaping how data and technology drive performance insights across multiple sports.

You will take technical ownership of our individual sport products, including our existing Darts offering, while also contributing to the evolution of our multi-sport platform supporting sports such as basketball, handball, and hockey. The role focuses on backend API development and end-to-end system ownership, working across complex, distributed systems with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and security. This is a hands-on senior engineering role within an international environment that values collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.

THE CHALLENGE:

  • Creating flexible systems that work across a variety of sports
  • Take ownership in shaping and delivering key features and products whilst working alongside the Product team
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code, increasing unit test coverage and confidence
  • Lead the development of software services optimized for deployment into AWS
  • Collaborate with and become integral to a cross-functional team of Product, Design, Engineering, and System Administration
  • Meet regularly with Security members to review service needs and improvements

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-10 years of professional experience of software development using .NET
  • Strong experience with SQL-based databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, or similar relational databases
  • Experience with designing, consuming and writing APIs
  • Experience working with AWS key services (for example: ECS Fargate, S3, SES, EC2)
  • Creative and self-motivated engineer with excellent coding and design skills
  • You are always mindful of quality attributes like maintainability, performance, security, scalability, usability, and testability. As a result, you have successfully contributed to the architecture and UI/UX proposals and decisions.
  • Adherence for frontend architecture and good practices with experience using MVC, JQuery & Bootstrap

ABOUT YOU

You’re a developer who thrives on solving complex challenges and delivering clean, scalable solutions. You bring deep expertise in C# and the latest .NET technologies, and you approach architecture with clarity and purpose — using design patterns not just as tools, but as guiding principles.

You’ve spent 5–10 years honing your craft in software engineering. You take ownership of your work, lead yourself with confidence, and stay focused even when working independently.

You’re a natural problem-solver who enjoys fixing things, not just building them. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and bring a sense of responsibility to everything you do.

You’re curious, self-motivated, and always learning — whether it’s new tech, better practices, or the people around you. You’re not afraid to step outside your comfort zone and embrace growth opportunities.

OUR OFFER

  • A collaborative environment with colleagues from all over the world (offices in Europe, Australia and US) including various social events and teambuilding.
  • Flexibility to manage your workday and tasks with autonomy.
  • A balance of structure and autonomy to tackle your daily tasks.
  • Vibrant and inclusive community, including Women in Tech and Pride groups which welcome all participants.
  • Global Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Calm and Reulay app (leading well-being apps designed to support focus, quality rest, mindfulness, and long-term mental resilience).
  • Online training videos.
  • Flexible working hours.

While we appreciate the flexibility and benefits of working from home, we strongly believe that coming together in person fosters stronger connections, encourages collaboration, and drives innovation—both as individuals and as a company. The energy, shared ideas, and team support we experience in the office strengthen the foundation of our success and culture. For this reason, we are an office-first business operating on a hybrid model, with team members working in the office three days a week to build relationships, exchange ideas, and grow together.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

  • Initial Screening
  • A short call with our Talent Acquisition Partner to align on your experience and expectations.
  • Technical Interview
  • Meet the team you'll work with — a Q&A session plus time for your questions.
  • Team Fit Interview (onsite optional)
  • Chat with the unit leaders to explore team dynamics and direction and also a chance to meet in person with our VP of Engineering.
