Zebra AI is our next growth engine: an AI-native product that turns messy business data into decision-ready reports and insights - fast, explainable, and shareable. We’re early in the journey, shipping weekly with a small senior team. We’re looking for a PMM who can translate customer truth into a differentiated story that converts - and build the proof + learning loops that help us find PMF and scale revenue. Zebra AI is available on the web and as a Microsoft Fabric workload - giving us a strong distribution wedge in the Microsoft ecosystem.
Why this role exists
Zebra AI sits at the intersection of AI trust, analytics workflows, and Sales & FP&A decision-making. The product is strong and evolving quickly; what we need now is a PMM who can:
● sharpen who we’re for (ICP + use cases),
● clarify why we win (positioning + differentiation),
● and create credible proof that accelerates conversion.
This is a “startup within an established brand” role: you’ll own product marketing for Zebra AI while collaborating with the core Zebra BI Marketing team to protect and elevate the Zebra brand.
What to expect
High ownership, high commitment, fast cycles, and ambiguity:
● evolving ICP and messaging,
● a mix of PLG with enterprise-assist pilots,
● imperfect data and attribution early on,
● direct access to customers, Product/Engineering, and leadership.
What you’ll own
1) PMF discovery + ICP validation
● Partner with Growth and Product to drive discovery and find PMF.
● Segment buyers/users (Sales, FP&A): who gets value fastest, where we win, and
why.
● Validate positioning through rapid tests: landing pages, decks, outreach, demos, and
in-product messaging.
2) Positioning & messaging that drives behavior
● Craft and iterate the core narrative: pain → promise → differentiation → proof →
why now.
● Build a message system (not a one-off doc) that stays current as we learn.
● Own the “activation story”: templates/use cases, onboarding narrative,
trust/verification messaging.
3) Proof engine (credible outcomes)
● Turn pilots and early wins into credible proof: case studies, quantified outcomes,
before/after stories, testimonials.
● Build ROI narratives that improve pilot-to-paid conversion and help skeptical
stakeholders say “yes.”
4) GTM assets + enablement
● Own Zebra AI’s website story and conversion-focused pages (in collaboration with
Growth and core marketing team)
● Build high-signal assets such as pitch deck, one-pagers, competitive cards, objection
handling.
● Partner with VP Growth and Product to define packaging hypotheses
(tiers/entitlements/value metrics), and translate them into messaging, pricing
pages, and enablement.
5) Market + learning system
● Partner with Growth + Product on funnel insights (activation → retention →
monetization) and turn learnings into sharper GTM enablement materials and
roadmap inputs
● Maintain competitive intel and category POV: how the market is shifting and where
Zebra AI wins.
You’re likely a fit if you…
● Have 5+ years in B2B SaaS PMM/marketing (or equivalent) and built messaging that
drove adoption and revenue.
● Have done 0→1 positioning (or major repositioning) in an ambiguous environment.
● Translate complex products into simple, compelling narratives with strong taste and
clarity.
● Default to outcomes and proof - you’re allergic to fluff and overclaims.
● Can take messy inputs and ship: talk to customers, synthesize signal, produce assets, iterate fast.
Bonus points
● Experience with Sales Ops / FP&A personas and workflows.
● Familiarity with analytics tooling or the Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI / Fabric / Azure).
● Experience marketing AI products where trust, accuracy, and verification matter.
● Strong design sensibility: materials that look as good as they read.
