An opportunity exists to join our Amsterdam office as a People Operations Specialist. In this hybrid role, you will be a key member within our human resources unit and will be responsible for supporting and managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.

Responsibilities
- Handle onboarding to offboarding processes for employees in the Netherlands
- Create employment documents, confirmation letters and statements
- Keep employment records and contracts up to date
- Conduct background checks on employees
- Provide payroll information to external vendors and in-house payroll teams
- Process employee expenses and requests
- Organize anniversaries, gifts and company events
- Oversee company car and mobility allowance programs
- Manage leaves (sick leave registration, parental leave management, etc.)
- Administer benefits programs
- Communicate with authorities such as UWV, SVB, tax authorities as needed
Requirements
- 1–2 years of relevant HR experience (Admin, generalist, payroll, benefits, mobility, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (HR/OD certification preferred)
- Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR colleagues, managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver excellent employee support
- Strong organisation skills
- Proficiency in Dutch and English language (at least at B2 level)
Nice to have
- Advanced Excel skills (for reporting and data management)
- Knowledge of Dutch employment law
- Experience managing large volumes of administrative work
