Senior Creative Writer (World of Tanks: HEAT)(m/f/i)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for a Senior Creative Writer with outstanding English skills to join our team and contribute to the development of World of Tanks: HEAT. You'll join the narrative team and collaborate with design, art and development teams to deliver scripts for gameplay voice over, cinematics, and in-game dialogs.

What will you do?

• Write and edit voice over scripts for a cast of playable heroes and supportive cast of NPCs
• Collaborate with a team of artists, designers and animators to create high-quality in-game cinematics driven by characters
• Create a unique cast of characters with complex backstories in collaboration with the narrative design team
• Maintain the quality and consistency of English writing across the project together with the copywriting and localization teams
  
  

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience as a game writer
• Exceptional written and spoken English (C2)
• Proven experience with writing voice over scripts for video games
• Experience working within cross-discipline teams
• Understanding of game development production cycles
• Experience working with story boards and video production
  
  

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Experience with live-ops products
• Understanding of localization processes
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools
• Experience with voice over recordings and working with actors
• Familiarity with game engines (Unreal, Unity, etc.)
  
  

Work mode

• Full-time employment
• Hybrid (4 days of work from the office)
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Poland at the time of application
  
  

Type of Contract and Salary

• Employment Contract (umowa o prace)
• The salary range for this role is 9500 - 14000 PLN gross monthly (The final salary within the range will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and performance during the interview. Please note that this salary range applies to Poland; for other locations, it might be different.)
