Job Description

This company is seeking an experienced and proactive Product Designer to join their lean, high-impact product team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Product to lead a full overhaul of existing user platforms and develop a best-in-class design system from the ground up. With a strong focus on ownership, creativity, and collaboration, you will shape the future of a sports betting experience that puts thoughtful design and usability first—not just functionality.

You’ll be instrumental in pushing forward roadmap initiatives that directly impact customer growth, such as optimizing sign-up conversion and streamlining user journeys.

This role is ideal for an intermediate to senior designer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is looking to take full ownership of design in a growing company. Please note that this is a hybrid position in Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Lead the redesign of core product platforms, delivering intuitive and scalable user experiences
• Build and implement a cohesive design system using Figma
• Partner closely with Leadership, Product and Engineering teams to explore and define roadmap priorities
• Apply a user-centered lens to initiatives such as improving sign-up conversion and simplifying workflows
• Contribute to shaping the culture and practice of design across the company
• Leverage AI tools where appropriate to streamline workflow and boost creativity
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product design with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking
• High level of ownership and a proactive approach to problem-solving and execution
• Proficiency in Figma; familiarity with design systems and scalable components
• Comfortable working with and experimenting with AI/LLM tools
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid environment with a collaborative and startup-minded team
• Experience in sports betting, iGaming, or financial platforms is a bonus—not a requirement
