Software Engineer (Go)

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Golang Software Engineer with deep experience in the Ad Tech ecosystem to support one of our top entertainment clients in the Bay Area - but this position can sit remote. This role can pay between $40-$50/hour depending on years of experience and skillset. We are are flexible so please apply!

This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in high‑volume, low‑latency environments and is passionate about building systems that power real‑time ad delivery at massive scale.

You will design, build, and optimize backend services that sit at the core of our client’s ad‑serving and auction infrastructure. You’ll work hands‑on with Golang, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native technologies to ensure our systems deliver exceptional throughput, reliability, and performance. You’ll also play a key role in shaping technical direction, improving observability, and ensuring seamless integration across cross‑functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑performance Golang services that support real‑time bidding, ad decisioning, and large‑scale data flows.
• Build and enhance real‑time monitoring, alerting, and telemetry systems to ensure visibility into service health and ad‑signal pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and platform engineering teams to design scalable ad‑serving solutions aligned with business goals.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across distributed systems, ensuring minimal latency and maximum system uptime.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices to drive innovation and improve system efficiency.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows, code quality standards, and operational excellence across the engineering organization.
