About The Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to play a key role in establishing and growing BHP’s India office. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of end to end HR, working closely with leaders and employees to build strong foundations during a critical growth phase.

This role blends hands on HR delivery with trusted advisory — ideal for someone who enjoys operating close to the business and shaping how HR works on the ground.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Act as the primary HR contact for employees and leaders in India
• Collaborate with global talent teams, informing recruitment with India specific market insights and supporting smooth onboarding
• Provide practical, trusted advice on employee relations, performance and conduct
• Ensure compliance with Indian employment legislation, contracts and policies
• Help embed a strong, inclusive culture as the organisation scales
  
  

About You

You are a confident and pragmatic HR Generalist who thrives in evolving environments and enjoys taking ownership. You bring strong judgement, credibility with leaders, and a people first mindset.

You’ll Likely Bring

• Broad HR generalist experience, ideally in a growing or start up environment
• Strong knowledge of Indian employment law and HR operations
• Experience across recruitment, onboarding and employee relations
• Ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and global HR teams
