Game Development Faculty

FACE Prep is looking for a passionate and skilled Game Development Faculty to train and mentor students in modern game development concepts, tools, and industry practices. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering engaging sessions, designing curriculum, and preparing learners for careers in the gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver structured and interactive training sessions on Game Development fundamentals and core computer science

* Teach core concepts including:

* Game design principles

* 2D & 3D game development

* Game physics, mechanics, and logic

* Asset integration (sprites, models, animations)

* Train students using game engines such as Unity (C#) and/or Unreal Engine (C++ / Blueprints)

* Guide students in building real-time projects and games

* Design lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and capstone projects

* Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback

* Stay updated with current trends in game development and emerging technologies

* Collaborate with the academic and content teams to improve curriculum quality

* Support students in portfolio building, hackathons, and career readiness

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Master's & Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, Game Design, IT, or related field

Strong knowledge of:

* Unity / Unreal Engine

* C#, C++, or relevant scripting languages

* Game mechanics, AI basics, and UI systems

* Experience in game development projects (professional or indie)

* Good understanding of object-oriented programming

* Strong communication and teaching skills

* Ability to simplify complex concepts for learners

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience

* Published games or completed game projects

* Knowledge of AR/VR, multiplayer systems, or mobile game deployment

* Familiarity with Git/version control
